Every server has its own population, its own starting rules and its own progression. Pick the one that suits you: that is where your hero will live.
Sign-up and login happen on the game server, not here. This site holds no account and never asks you for a password.
Where does the latency figure come from?
Your browser queries each server itself and times the round trip: that is your latency, from your connection, not ours. When that measurement is not possible, the figure shown is the one taken from aranor.ca, and it says so.
What do the states mean?
- Online — the server announced itself less than two minutes ago and is accepting players.
- Silent — it was there a few minutes ago but has gone quiet. Often a restart in progress.
- Offline — no sign of life for more than ten minutes.
Running a server?
Your server announces itself: nothing to open in your firewall, no access to hand over. Three settings in its admin panel are enough.
- Ask the Aranor team for a hub secret.
- In the game: Administration → Settings → Public hub. Fill in the hub URL, the secret, your server's public name and its game address.
- Turn on “Announce this server to the hub”, then click “Announce now” to check. Your server shows up here within the minute.
